Today I had the honor to shoot the Lightcanvas, a concept developed by my friend Luis Ferreira. Turned off, it looks like a regular paint canvas. But when it’s on it turns into a beautiful, bright LED display that responds to pressure, enabling the user to paint on the canvas with light. You can alter the color you are painting with, including a random setting to create a gradient, and the size of the brush. I have no idea how he built it, but seeing it in action was massively impressive. The girl who modeled for the shoot, Jaleesa, said it felt like magic.
