I love Glow. It´s quite a spectacle every year, and each year seems to top the last. Every november Eindhoven center lights up in beautiful displays of color and creativity that I haven’t seen anywhere else yet.

But as far as photography goes, I´ve had a difficult relationship with it since I started taking pictures. The objects themselves, the artwork, the light displays, are beautiful on their own. But they don´t fit my “style” of photography, and every time I’ve come home from a shoot and looked at my pictures, I was disappointed with myself. I always end up wandering down an alley and finding a staircase or something. Something I know, something I’m familiar with. Something nothing to do with the beauty of the event.  So this year I decided to do something different and focus on the people visiting Glow, and the people visiting Glow with me, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Which you will see below.
